Wild Tales brings together Zoo Miami Foundation Goodwill Ambassador and internationally recognized wildlife expert Ron Magill with Yvette Cano, a longtime environmental education leader with the National Park Service, for an exclusive evening of remarkable stories, firsthand experiences, and insights into the Everglades, wildlife, and conservation.
Born and raised in South Florida, Yvette has spent more than 30 years working with educators, students, and communities to inspire curiosity, environmental awareness, and a deeper connection to the natural world. Through her work with the National Park Service, she helps expand access to environmental education and strengthen connections to Everglades National Park.
Together, Yvette and Ron will share stories from their careers connecting people with wildlife and the environment, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the extraordinary Everglades and the importance of inspiring the next generation of conservationists.
