Welcome to our Zoo Miami eStore where you can purchase your tickets online without having to wait in line! Select type of tickets and quantity, input your information, print out your tickets, give them to the ticket taker, and you're in!
Admission
We look forward to seeing you at the Zoo! We are managing the number of guests entering the Zoo each day. You are now required to choose your date of visit when purchasing your ticket.

We are open everyday of the year from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (except on Thanksgiving and Christmas which have reduced hours). We recommend coming early to enjoy all we have to offer.

Rentals
For a cool way to see Zoo Miami, rent a Safari Cycle for the whole family and pedal your way around. Small cycles can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children (ages 1 - 4 years), while the large cycles can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 small children (ages 1 - 4 years). The minimum age to rent and operate a Safari Cycle is 21. We also offer single strollers, double strollers, wheelchairs and ECVs (Electric Convenience Vehicles).

When picking up your rented item, you are required to leave a valid driver's license or State issued ID for each item that is rented. Your ID will be returned to you when you return the rented item. You are not allowed to leave the following forms of ID with us (passport, gun license, military ID, resident card or federal card).

Small Safari Cycle - Flat Rate up to 3 Hours

Summer Savings Pass
Enjoy unlimited visits to Zoo Miami, COX Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach, and Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach from May 16 - August 31, 2025.

A fillable PDF form will be automatically included with your purchase. Please complete, print out, and bring this 'Summer Savings Pass 2025 - Information Form' with you to the turnstiles at the zoo. When you receive your confirmation email, press the VIEW & PRINT button and it will be on the last page. This will reduce the time you spend in line to redeem your voucher.

You now have the option to have your Summer Savings Pass cards mailed to you via FedEx for $15. If you choose this option, you must complete the fillable PDF that is included with your order and email it to zoosales@miamidade.gov along with your order confirmation number. Please allow up to seven days to receive your cards.*Voucher must be redeemed at Zoo Miami, unless the FedEx Express option was chosen.

Zoo Miami Annual Member Summer Savings Pass Prices

*Annual Pass members must show their Zoo Miami Membership pass at any available ticket window to receive the member discount for the Summer Savings Pass. Your Annual Pass must be valid through August 31, 2025 to be eligible for the Summer Savings Pass discounted rate. Also, only named guests on your account are eligible for the discounted rate.
Adult Summer Savings Pass

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour cancellations must be made in writing and sent to ZooTours@miamidade.gov be sure to include the name of the main contact on the reservation and your order number. If cancelled five or more days prior to your tour date, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled within one to five days of your tour date, a 50% refund will be issued. If cancelled on the day of your tour, no refund will be issued.

Animal Experiences
Connect with our ambassador animals and zookeepers during up close and personal animal experience!

What to know before you book:
  • Check-in must be made at the Tours and Encounters Booth.
  • Depending on animal health requirements, guests ages two and older may be required to wear a CDC recommended face covering or they will not be allowed to participate. If needed, the face covering will be provided by Zoo Miami during the experience.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required.
  • Service animals are not permitted.
  • Touching of the animals is not permitted unless advised by Zoo Miami staff.
  • Children five years old and under must be carried or held by the hand of an adult in their group.
Restrictions: One paying participant must be at least 18 years old per group.

African Elephant Experience
Price: $65.42
The largest experience on land that only a select few ever get to do! During this journey, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet with our dedicated Animal Care Specialists, who will provide unparalleled insight into the inner workings of our African Elephants. Discover the day-to-day care of these magnificent creatures and the conservation efforts that are the backbone of our mission to preserve wild populations.

Travel to African Elephants, which is authorized for access only, and be part of the experience as you see a voluntary husbandry training session up close and learn how all this plays a crucial role in creating an environment where elephants can thrive at Zoo Miami.

Bactrian Camel Experience

Zoo Doo Compost
Zoo Doo is made from exotic animal waste (elephants, rhinos and bantengs to be exact) and recycled yard debris found right here at Zoo Miami. Purchase your Zoo Doo online.
 

Zoo Doo cubic yard is currently unavailble for purchase.

Picking-up Your Zoo Doo Compost
Pickup your Zoo Doo Bucket at Gate 2 daily between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Print or present your online voucher on your mobile phone. Barcode(s) must be visible if picking up at Gate 2. Cashiers will be able to lookup your order at the Ticketing Building if you are having trouble opening your online voucher. If picking-up a Zoo Doo cubic yard 72 hour notice is required. Please arrive at Gate 2 Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. For alternate days and times, please contact our Composting Operations Manager, Yvette Jones, at Yvette.Jones@miamidade.gov or 786-798-4842 . Please provide us with a 72 hour notice. Limit 2 scoops per week per person.
