Camp Adopt-an-Animal
Bring home all the fun of Camp and support the Zoo's wildlife enrichment by adopting an animal! Each Mini Camp will feature a different animal based on the day's activities. Discounted package includes plush animal, certificate of adoption, fact sheet, and animal photo by Ron Magill that will be sent home with your child at the end of the day.

Wild Winter Wonderland

Campers will explore all the adaptations animals use to get through wild winters! From thick fur to long winter naps, campers will discover all the "cool" things animals can do! Enjoy the cooler weather with fun Zoo walks, scavenger hunts and animal encounters!

Week 2 - Jan 2 - 5
Cool Careers

Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a veterinarian at a Zoo!? What about a wildlife conservationist or a zookeeper? Learn about the many career choices for anyone that loves animals. Be ready to be put to work as we discover all the effort it takes to run an entire Zoo!

 
Night Programs
Zoo Miami at night is a whole different animal! Come get an exclusive look at our night-loving species after the sun goes down. The night tours will also provide a glimpse into the zoo's animal enrichment programs.

A night-time walking tour providing behind-the-scenes experiences with our nocturnal animal ambassadors! Join us on the second Saturday of each month for a different group animals and a fun, kid-friendly theme.

Everglades Escapade: Explore the excitement found right here in your own backyard, with exciting encounters with black bears and alligators!

Amazon Trek: Do you dare venture into the Amazon at night? Be on the lookout for jaguars, crocodiles, bats, and anteaters!

Eat or Be Eaten: The plains of the savanna are alive at night with lions, Asian elephants, and the curious tapir!

Gentle Giants: Africa is a big place - and it's home to some really big animals. Keep your eyes open for African elephants, black rhinoceros, pygmy hippopatamus, and the rare okapi!
