For a cool way to see Zoo Miami, rent a Safari Cycle for the whole family and pedal your way around. Small cycles can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 small children (ages 1 - 4 years), while the large cycles can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 small children (ages 1 - 4 years). The minimum age to rent and operate a Safari Cycle is 21. We also offer single strollers, double strollers, wheelchairs and ECVs (Electric Convenience Vehicles).

When picking up your rented item, you are required to leave a valid driver's license or State issued ID for each item that is rented. Your ID will be returned to you when you return the rented item. Cars 4 Conservation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the Zoo Miami promenade and East parking lot. Participants will have access to Zoo Miami's front plaza, gift shop, and car show festivities at no extra cost. Zoo admission can be purchased by registrants at a discounted rate. Guests and participants can meet our ambassador animals at our animal encounters in the plaza and food/beverages will be available for sale. Funds from this year's Cars 4 Conservation will support Rhino conservation.

- Check-in must be made at the tram booth.
- Depending on animal health requirements, guests ages two and older may be required to wear a CDC recommended face covering or they will not be allowed to participate. If needed, the face covering will be provided by Zoo Miami during the encounter.
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Service animals are not permitted.
- Touching of the animals is not permitted unless advised by Zoo Miami staff.
- Children five years old and under must be carried or held by the hand of an adult in their group.

Zoo Doo is made from exotic animal waste (elephants, rhinos and bantengs to be exact) and recycled yard debris found right here at Zoo Miami. Purchase your Zoo Doo online.
Picking-up Your Zoo Doo Compost
Pickup your Zoo Doo Bucket at Gate 2 daily between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Print or present your online voucher on your mobile phone. Barcode(s) must be visible if picking up at Gate 2. Cashiers will be able to lookup your order at the Ticketing Building if you are having trouble opening your online voucher. If picking-up a Zoo Doo Scoop, 72 hour notice is required. Please arrive at Gate 2 Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. For alternate days and times, please contact our Composting Operations Manager, Yvette Jones, at Yvette.Jones@miamidade.gov or 305-251-0400, ext. 5084963. Please provide us with a 72 hour notice. Limit 3 scoops per week per person.
