Wild Night: Night Tour
 

Experience the magic of Zoo Miami after hours with our Night Tour! Perfect for individuals and families, this exclusive experience allows you to explore the Zoo at night, encountering the nocturnal animals that come alive after dark.
During the Night Tour, you'll enjoy a guided walk through the Zoo, getting the chance to see which animals are awake at night and even have an up-close encounter with one of our animal ambassadors.
Please note that some Night Tour events may include Sleepover participants

The tour will be hosted through Florida Mission Everglades or Asia Lobe. Please note that night tours are not a full tour of the Zoo.

Join us for a night of mysteries at the zoo! Learn about the secret nocturnal life of our animals. We will spend the evening learning about animal care, touring the zoo, playing trivia games, and telling stories by the campfire while roasting s’mores..

Don't miss out on this exciting camping experience here at Zoo Miami! Bring your tent and come camp with us! Camp setup begins at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening. This event will take place from Saturday at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Saturday will be filled with all kinds of adventures and activities for the whole family. Groups must consist of 1 adult for every 8 minors (under 18 years of age). 
Everyone in attendance must be a ticket holder. Due to the popularity of this event, no Refunds will be issued.
If you attend a Title 1 School, this event is at no cost with a Promo code. You can also reserve a tent if needed. Please email education@zoomiami.org for your promo code.
Zoo admission for Sunday is not included with your registration.

Join us at the Zoo this March for a fun-filled and FREE professional development workshop all about the 3 R's! In this workshop, we’ll equip you with a new, hands-on lesson plan designed to inspire young learners to become environmentally responsible. Learn innovative ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle that you can easily incorporate into your lessons, and how becoming a recycling hero impacts animal conservation.

Grant Field Trip 2025-2026
 
Grant Funded Field Trips
Zoo Miami Foundation may be able to provide financial assistance for field trips to Title 1 Schools and underserved community groups. We hope your group has a memorable experience with us during their time at Zoo Miami. Our Field Trips provide educational and insightful opportunities for all ages.
Our grant-funded Field Trips are only offered on Fridays
We may also be able to cover the cost and provide transportation, lunch, and feeding tickets. This is not a guarantee and is subject to availability
*If you are interested in the Zoom Ahead program for Highschools please select the Zoom Ahead option as the guided tour. ( Please note the Zoom Ahead is for a max of 20 students)

  • Description: Enjoy a guided tour led by our expert Zoo Miami Foundation educators! Tours are offered on Wednesdays & Fridays and start at 10:00 am and can last until 1:00 pm. We create a custom agenda for your group based on your group size and arrival and departure times.

  Zoo Cubs & Grown Ups, for children aged 2-5 years old and their “favorite grown up” (parent, grandparent, caregiver, etc.). This will be a members-only, once-a-month class on Saturdays. Each session will have a fun theme and will include:
  • Meeting at the front of the park with a guided stroller walk into the park.
  • Activities: read-aloud, movement, music, sensory play, etc.
When: One Saturday per month, 9:45 am-11 am (program run time is 1 hour and 15 minutes)
Who: Zoo Membership families with children ages  2-5 years old

What: Mommy and Me type class to build community among young families while creating building blocks for children's development and appreciation of nature and wildlife.
Where: Zoo Miami – homebase Oasis Pavilion
Price: $55 per class or sign up for all 6 classes for $275
Capacity: 20 families (1 adult and 1 child)

Teen Wildfire Club

Teen Wildfire Club
Wildfire is a teen environmental club designed to bring together passionate, like-minded teens who want to explore what it means to become an environmental advocate. This dynamic club offers students the opportunity to explore real-world environmental issues, learn from conservation professionals, and discover how they can make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Through hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes experiences, guest speakers, and collaborative projects, members will deepen their understanding of wildlife conservation, sustainability practices, and global environmental challenges. The club empowers teens to develop leadership skills, engage in advocacy, and become informed stewards of the natural world.
Whether they’re aspiring scientists, environmentalists, or simply curious about how to protect our planet, teens will find a supportive community where their passion can grow—and where their voices truly matter.
Who: Teens aged 14 -18 years old
When: Once per month meeting from 8:30am -12:00pm from January- May

Where: Zoo Miami, with field trips to other various environmental locations
Price: $375 member club dues for the whole season
Capacity: 25 student members
